the story: I had captured this image on one of my random afternoon walks a couple of weeks ago, and then forgot about it until I decided to clear the camera memory this morning. When I was taking this picture, I was thinking of writing a monologue about my last year as a phd student, and about looking forward to weeks and months after phd that didn't look much promising. On my mind was the nice reflection of this tree stump on a pool of water that looked quite dirty (and on a dull grey gloomy day) , and of the beauty in mundane places and days like these. I am still waiting for that "right moment" to complete many incomplete blog posts, and monologues, but in the meantime, I've found time to process this image and post it here :)
