- About the Photo: Another photograph that I took from Bangor Pier, and nearly forgot about! The city I live in, York, is very flat with not even little hills in sight, so it felt great to see these hills when I was in Bangor. Even on the way (to and from Bangor), it was fun seeing hills from the train, although people here talk of these as being "mountains"! Anyway, this was taken just before sunset when the sunlight was just beginning to fade. And it was a bit cloudy as you can see in the picture, so the usually colourful lights of the sunset weren't reaching these hills in their full glory. Well, I was just happy to see the "mountains" :-)
