About the Photo: 1 July 2006, England were playing Portugal in the World Cup quarter finals. It was a very warm, sunny day and having been indoors for most of the week, I went out cycling around the university just before the game started. There were hardly any students as the undergrads had their finals last week and most of them already went home...I saw some of them packing and moving out as I was cycling around. So, it was all quiet at the university...and the leftovers were probably watching the match build-up in one of the colleges. Took a few snaps from the bike...I did stop but didn't get off :). Most of the pictures were overexposed as it was extremely bright, and out of quite a few, I found this a bit easy on the eyes and hence makes it here. I didn't want to give "emptiness" as the title again so this title, changing a word (well, part of a word!) from Simon and Garfunkle's "bridge over troubled waters"...and what an amazing song it is!! By the way, I'm writing this now after England lost their match on penalties...again!!! Now, the world cup is well and truly over for me...Argentina out yesterday and England today...what a shame!

Well,sorry for you that Eng lost…but the WC sure has turned Euro Cup now. Nyways I couldn’t help but comment on this pic, hmmm as soon as i saw it the words “Picture Immaculate” struck me… don’t know why! Man, you sure stay in a Mindblowing place! Plain WOW! wish I could express btr! Nyways hope you enjoy the worldcup despite ur fav teams out of the game now
don’t worry, i am not that sad about Eng losing than i was about Arg…but what a match last night! and Henry scored, which is great as i support Arsenal here in the Premiership!! and thanks for all the good words about the picture, but i would also benefit from constructive criticism once in a while …this “Mindblowing” place is my university…no wonder i get so distracted from my work
